This policy explains how Savvy.codes handles personal information in Sudoku – Daily Puzzle Fun and on sudokudailypuzzlefun.com. Contact us at [email protected] for privacy questions or requests.
The Sudoku app
The current release does not require an account and includes no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not receive your puzzle entries, saved games, scores, favourites, streaks or settings. These are stored locally on your device.
Your device may include app data in backups depending on your Apple settings. Apple manages these services under its own privacy policy. Removing the app or its local data may delete your progress. There is currently no account-based recovery or cross-device sync.
This website
When you visit this site, our hosting infrastructure processes technical request information, such as your IP address, requested URL, browser details and request time, to serve pages, secure the service and investigate errors. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website. We do not use advertising cookies, visitor analytics or third-party font services on this site. Essential CMS or security cookies may be used where necessary, such as when an administrator signs in.
When you contact support
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use this information to answer your request and resolve issues, based on our legitimate interest in providing support or, where applicable, performing our agreement with you. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information.
Service providers and sharing
Our hosting and email providers process information as needed to provide their services. We do not sell personal information or share it for behavioural advertising. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights and prevent abuse.
Some providers may process information outside your country. Where European data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for details about providers and safeguards relevant to your request.
Retention
Local app data remains on your device until removed by you or your device settings. We keep support correspondence only for as long as needed to address the request, handle follow-up issues or meet legal obligations. Technical logs are kept only as long as necessary for operations, security and troubleshooting, unless a specific incident or legal requirement requires longer retention.
Your choices and rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information we hold, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Email [email protected] to make a request. We cannot retrieve gameplay data held only on your device. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority, including the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Children
We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support, please contact us so we can address it.
External services
Links to Apple, Savvy.codes or other websites open services with their own privacy policies. Apple may collect App Store and diagnostic information under your Apple settings; that is separate from the app’s local gameplay storage.
Changes
We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date above. Future analytics, advertising, purchases or online features will be described before they are introduced, with any required choices or consent.
